Brewers vs Marlins predictions
As the Milwaukee Brewers gear up to take on the Miami Marlins, there are several players on the Brewers' roster who could be in for a big game. Willy Adames, the Brewers' shortstop, has been on a tear lately, and I think he'll continue his hot streak with a multi-hit game, including a home run. Meanwhile, Christian Yelich, the Brewers' star outfielder, is due for a breakout game, and I wouldn't be surprised if he reaches base three or four times. And on the mound, Robert Gasser, the Brewers' probable starter, has been impressive in his limited action this season, and I think he'll turn in a quality start, going at least six innings and allowing two or fewer earned runs.
On the other side, the Miami Marlins will be counting on their top performers to come through against the Brewers. Josh Bell, the Marlins' first baseman, has been a bright spot in an otherwise strugglesome season for the Fish, and I think he'll deliver a big game, possibly with a home run and a couple of RBIs. Bryan De La Cruz, the Marlins' left fielder, has been getting on base consistently, and I think he'll reach base at least twice and score a run. And on the mound, Trevor Rogers, the Marlins' probable starter, has been solid this season, and I think he'll keep the Brewers' offense in check, allowing three or fewer earned runs.
Overall, I think the Brewers have the edge in this matchup, thanks in part to their more potent offense. While the Marlins have struggled to score runs, the Brewers have been more consistent on the attack, and I think that will be the difference in this game. Look for the Brewers to come out on top, possibly by a score of 5-3 or 6-4.
