Ravens vs Texans predictions

Lamar Jackson is always the center of attention when the Baltimore Ravens hit the field, and there’s good reason for that. He's expected to put on a solid show with around 226 passing yards and possibly even tuck in a couple of touchdowns while keeping those dreaded interceptions to a minimum. While Derrick Henry may be a new face on the Ravens' squad, he's anything but unfamiliar to the Texans. Houston knows well the challenge he brings with nearly 100 rushing yards projected for this game. Meanwhile, Zay Flowers could be the secret sauce, catching around 60 yards worth of passes and potentially snagging a touchdown, much to the delight of his fantasy owners.

Flipping the field over to the Houston Texans, they have their own firepower in rookie sensation C.J. Stroud. The fans are buzzing to see him rack up over 240 passing yards, an impressive number for a fresh face, and maybe feed a touchdown or two into the end zone. Joe Mixon is poised to be another critical component of the Texans’ game plan. Picture him pushing through the Baltimore defense for upwards of 70 rushing yards, possibly crossing the goal line himself once or twice. Then there’s Nico Collins, who might just be poised to make a significant impact. With expectations to gain more than 80 receiving yards and perhaps hit paydirt, he could be the key to any offensive success for Houston.

So who takes the cake in this Christmas Day clash? These two teams have strong resumes this season, but the edge might just go to the Baltimore Ravens. Their ability to dominate both in the air and on the ground makes them a well-rounded threat, even against a Houston team that's been confident at home with a solid 5-2 record at the NRG Stadium. That said, anything can happen in the NFL, and if Stroud hits his stride early, the Texans could certainly surprise us all. What do you think? Will it be the Ravens' experience or the Texans' youthful exuberance that prevails?
